NEW CANOPY
This work redefines marital deconstruction and reconstruction. The fabric is made of a couple's photograph that was cut into about 200 strips. The strips are used as a weft with threads woven into a renewed, harmonic fabric. It is a homage to the past, to the first canopy of the Jewish marriage ceremony.
